Managing Disordered Eating in Chronic Kidney Disease
Speaker: Amanda Hays, MS, RDN, LD
Date: April 30
Time: noon - 1 p.m. (Central time)
While the prevalence of eating disorders continues to increase across the population, the degree to which people living with kidney disease are impacted by disordered eating is relatively unknown. However, the complexity of renal nutrition and comorbid conditions may contribute to the risk for disordered eating behaviors. Through this presentation, renal dietitians can grow in confidence on how to screen their patients for clinical eating disorders, identify disordered eating behaviors in their patients, and understand best practices for care in this population.
