Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Online Research Toolkit
A new online Research Toolkit, developed by ANAD's Research Committee and supported in part by RPG is available free of charge to ANAD members at: www.adaevidencelibrary.com/store.cfm?category=13&auth=1. In addition to providing you with essential information on understanding and conducting research, continuing education credits are also available for some topics. The Toolkit consists of eight different topic content areas and includes text that summarizes important learning points, PowerPoint presentations, practice exercises to reinforce learning, and links to nutrition research articles that illustrate content learning objectives.

NKF-CRN: Council of Renal Nutrition (CRN) of the National Kidney Foundation (NKF)
CRN is an association of renal dietitians that is one of the professional councils of the NKF. The Journal of Renal Nutrition, an every other month peer-reviewed publication, is a member benefit of CRN. Living Well With Kidney Disease: A Handbook for Patients and Their Families
The first edition of Living Well with Kidney Disease, previously titled When Your Kidneys Fail, was developed and published by the National Kidney Foundation of Southern California to provide information for people with kidney disease. Among the topics covered are the principles of kidney function, methods of treatment, and financial resources available to patients. The question and answer format, written in non-technical language, is designed to facilitate easy-reading. The handbook will help meet the educational needs of the growing population of people afflicted with kidney failure. Renal Support Network (RSN)
The Renal Support Network (RSN) is a nonprofit, patient-focused, patient-run organization that provides non-medical services to those affected by chronic kidney disease (CKD). RSN strives to help patients develop their personal coping skills, special talents, and employability by educating and empowering them (and their family members) to take control of the course and management of the disease. Educational brochure and fact sheet series - Published by AKF, these pieces offer the public valuable information about kidney disease and its major risk factors.
The Minority Intervention and Kidney Education program (MIKE) -An educational program that includes free kidney health screenings and follow-up.
