Identify three proposed changes in the K/DOQI clinical practice guideline for HD adequacy-2006, Define 2 distinct types of PD membranes and determine which type of PD is the most suitable option for each and Describe clinical features of patients w/both adequate and insufficient delivered dialysis dosages.
- Realizing Peritoneal Dialysis segment will:
Identify 3 different PD therapy methods, Correctly estimate the total daily intake of kcal from glucose absorbed from pts’ dialysate solution and Identify 3 complications of PD, corresponding interventions to rectify them and provide K/DOQI nutritional recommendations for pts on PD.
