- Access to the Lending Library which allows you to check out current texts and other materials free of charge except for the shipping costs. The library contains several of the texts that are recommended for review for the Certified Specialist in Renal Nutrition exam. We are constantly expanding and updating the library to include the latest texts.

The RPG Dietetics Practice Group
- Plans a scientific session on renal nutrition topics, suggested by RPG members, at the ADA annual meeting.
- Provides a collective voice to promote the interest of renal dietitians and affect change in policy and legislation.
- Has an alliance with the National Kidney Foundation – Council on Renal Nutrition, to coordinate joint efforts and educational opportunities.
- Provides an avenue through which RPG members can influence the future direction of The ADA through the Council on Practice.
- Awards an “Outstanding Service Award”, to a member who has made significant contributions to the clinical practice and profession of renal nutrition.

How do I join?
If you are an ADA member, click here. You will be taken to the American Dietetics Association website where you can login to your profile and join RPG online. Once logged-in, look at your membership account information and add the Renal Dietitians (RPG) as a DPG.
You also can call ADA at (800/877-1600 ext. 5000) to join today.
The membership year runs from June 1 through May 31. ADA accepts payment for the current year through the end of February. Once you have joined, ADA will inform us and you will start receiving your mailings. All back issues of newsletters will be mailed to you.
