Pamela KentPamela S. Kent, MS, RD, CSR, LD
Chair

Pamela S. Kent has been a Renal Dietitian for the past 19 years. She is currently a Renal Clinical Consultant for Genzyme Therapeutics. Pam has been involved with the Renal Practice Group for many years, serving on the Editorial Board and the Executive Committee as Chair and Treasurer. In addition, she serves as Co-chair of the CRN Spring Clinical Meeting Program.

Pam is also the work group leader for the update of the CKD Evidence Based Guideline from ADA and the author of the Renal Chapter in the Nutrition Care Manual. She has been an invited guest lecturer and has published book chapters and articles in peer-reviewed journals. Pam has served on many advisory boards including the Dietitian Advisory Board for Renal Care Group.

ChairLois Hill, MS, RD, CSR, LD
Immediate Past Chair

Lois is a renal consultant and owner of Nutrition Solutions. She works with Dialysis Clinic, Inc. in clinical management in the hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and Chronic Kidney Disease Medical Nutrition Therapy practice areas. In addition to being certified as a Specialist in Renal Nutrition, Lois holds a Certificate in Adult Weight Management from the Commission on Dietetic Registration. Her special interests are reimbursement and legislation.

Cathi Martin
Secretary

Cathi Martin has been a Renal Dietitian for over 15 years. She is currently a Clinical Dietitian Account Manager for NutrePletion Resources in Nashville, TN. Cathi has been involved with the Renal Practice Group for many years, serving on the Editorial Board and the Executive Committee. She has also been involved as Co-Chair of the Scope of Practice/Standards of Professional Performance Committee on Renal Nutrition, faculty member of the KDOQI workshops on bone and mineral metabolism and a workgroup member on the Evidence Analysis for Chronic Kidney Disease. She has been invited to present lectures on many topics both nationally and internationally. She received the Recognized Renal Dietitian award from the Council on Renal Nutrition in 2005. In addition, she has published numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals.

Caroline ChinnCaroline Chinn, MS, RD, CSR, LD
Treasurer

Caroline is a graduate of SDSU with a MS degree in Foods and Nutrition. Caroline started her professional career in Renal Nutrition in the 80's and has since been actively involved in many renal nutrition communities. She was the RPG treasurer 2004-2005, Area Coordinator and a long standing committee members of NKF CRN nationally as well as in the So. Ca. chapter. Caroline has volunteered her services and expertise in various capacities as a supporter, leader and speaker in renal nutrition professional affiliates. Five years ago, Caroline received the Six Sigma training by the American Society of Quality and moved from direct clinical care to an advanced process improvement/outcome position. Her current professional focus is in the areas of outcome quality and clinical performances.
